To mark the Year of the Horse, Selman Marrakech welcomes The Macallan for an exclusive takeover of its stables on Friday 25 September, an evening celebrating excellence, craftsmanship and the art of tasting. The horse has always embodied the soul of Selman Marrakech, and the palace's stables set the scene for an experience that brings together equestrian heritage, hospitality and sensory discovery.
The dinner
From 7:30 pm, guests are welcomed into a setting specially designed by The Macallan, with signature welcome cocktails and gourmet pairings. A three-course Moroccan dinner by Cheffe Hafida follows in the intimate atmosphere of the stables, each course paired with a wine selected by Head Sommelier Abdelkrim El Garai, Morocco's Best Sommelier 2025. An Andalusian duo performs throughout dinner.
The tasting
After dinner, The Macallan's experts guide an exclusive tasting of two of the House's iconic expressions, Sherry Oak and Double Cask, revealing their aromatic profiles, defining characteristics and the craftsmanship behind them.
