Al 3Aïla: an Ismail Zaidy exhibition at the Mandarin Oriental

From 23 September, Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech hosts "العائلة - Al 3Aïla" (Family), an exhibition by the Moroccan photographer and visual artist Ismail Zaidy, in the hotel lobby. The opening, on 23 September at 6 pm, is open to the public.
The project draws on the artist's relationship with his family, his childhood memories and the Moroccan surroundings in which he grew up. It continues the visual language of his photographic work: minimalist, abstract and poetic compositions that question family, memory, identity and the roles we inherit within society.
With this exhibition, the hotel continues its curatorial approach, making its spaces a meeting point between contemporary creation, local culture and an international outlook.
