From 22 October to 15 November, Galerie Siniya 28 in Gueliz presents "I Remembered, I Surrendered", Yasmine Amal's first solo exhibition in Morocco. The opening is on Friday 23 October at 6:30 pm.

Through a series of intimate works, the artist explores transformation and the idea of interbeing, the sense that we belong to a deeply interconnected universe built on interdependence, and asks how hyper-individualism can weaken our capacity for empathy, collective care and shared responsibility. Her compositions dissolve and redraw the boundaries between the individual and the collective, nature and the human, spirituality and logic.
Drawing on Sufi thought, Indigenous and ecological narratives, she uses abstract symbolism and colour as an ancestral and universal language. Oil pastels, natural pigments from Morocco and acrylic turn her canvases into imaginative playgrounds where the inner and outer worlds merge.
