On Friday 23 October at 6 pm, Comptoir des Mines Galerie in Gueliz opens "Les Sentiers de l'Intranquillité", a solo exhibition by Hassan Bourkia, as part of the AMY Art Meets You art weekend. A group exhibition is also on view in the gallery's Yougoslavie room, on the first floor.
Born in El Ksiba in 1956, Hassan Bourkia is a writer, translator and visual artist who has exhibited in Morocco and abroad since 1990. His work explores memory, the tragedies of immigration and the suffering caused by conflicts around the world.
