Touhina Playa operates as a beach club within the Jardins de Touhina estate, a nine-hectare villa compound on the Route de Ouarzazate about thirty minutes south of central Marrakech. The venue was recently renovated and built around a lagoon pool whose curves give the water an organic shape that reads differently from the rectangular hotel pools along the Ourika and Palmeraie circuits. Loungers and daybeds line the edges in tiers, from standard to VIP, and a Tiki Bar sits poolside serving cocktails with a tropical lean. The lagoon shape keeps the pool approachable from every angle and gives the space a coastal looseness unusual for an inland club. A resident DJ sets the pace through the afternoon, pitching the energy somewhere between lounge and party depending on the crowd and the hour. The restaurant operates on its own terms with a Mexican-inflected menu, light and citrus-driven, built for midday heat rather than heavy lunches. A restaurant booking does not include pool access, and the two run as separate experiences under the same roof. The crowd is adults only, social and well-dressed without being rigid about it, and the staff draw consistent praise for speed and warmth. The wider estate is green and gated, with private villas scattered through gardens that face the Atlas Mountains, and that vegetation frames the club with enough planting to soften the edges and filter the afternoon light. Touhina Playa works best understood as a pool day with a coastal register: a curved lagoon, a Tiki Bar, a DJ who knows when to push the energy and when to let the water do the talking.
