Les Palmiers - Pool
Km6 Route de Fès Lot Al Hansae, Marrakech 40000
Experience
Intimate & Quiet
Overview
Les Palmiers sits on the Route de Fès at kilometre six, in the Palmeraie about fifteen minutes from central Marrakech. The property is a boutique hotel and day club run by the same family behind the Club Les Palmiers beach club on the Côte d'Azur, and the poolside sensibility carries over directly: sun-soaked, social, Mediterranean in tone. Two pools split the property and set two distinct rhythms. The hotel pool stays quiet, reserved for overnight guests, lined with loungers beneath the palms and pitched at rest rather than performance. The day-club pool runs livelier: open to non-guests from 400 MAD, it draws a well-dressed local crowd for long afternoons of swimming, cocktails, and music that tilts the atmosphere closer to Pampelonne than Palmeraie. The restaurant terrace sits between the two, shaded by palms, serving Mediterranean plates built from the hotel's own potager and local markets under the direction of a respected Moroccan chef. Weekend brunches pull their own following to poolside. A cocktail bar keeps drinks moving through the afternoon on both sides. Which pool you choose determines what kind of day you have: one for reading a book undisturbed, the other for sunglasses, conversation, and a second Aperol Spritz before lunch. The Royal Suite on the ground floor adds a third option entirely: a private heated pool on a 70-square-metre terrace, walled off from both communal pools, functioning as a self-contained retreat. Eleven rooms and suites in total fill the main villa and surrounding buildings, decorated in contemporary-Moroccan hippie-chic with soft tones, handcrafted materials, and king-size beds. A spa with hammam and treatment rooms sits beyond the pool area. Les Palmiers is two pool experiences sharing one address. The quiet side delivers a small, well-designed Palmeraie hotel. The day-club side delivers French Riviera energy transplanted to Marrakech. Both work. The separation between them is the width of a restaurant terrace and the difference between one mood and another.
