Overview
Riad Mena & Beyond operates across two distinct properties that together offer a choice between the cosmopolitan density of the Medina and the wide, grounded quiet of the countryside south of Marrakech. In the city, the seven suites spread across 700 square metres of a former private residence arranged around plant-filled courtyards, the eight-metre pool providing a focal point in a building that functions at the residential rather than the hotel scale. Seven minutes on foot from Jemaa el-Fnaa, the riad occupies a position close enough to the square's energy to access it and far enough within the Medina fabric to remain insulated from it. The second property, a collection of ten adobe-style lodges positioned thirty minutes toward the Agafay Desert, operates with a twenty-metre swimming pool, Atlas Mountains views, and an on-site kitchen garden working with century-old olive trees on a site whose landscape logic is entirely different from the city property. The two addresses together constitute a double offer: the old city's architecture and proximity on one hand, and the silence of the pre-Atlas plateau on the other, each property clarifying the character of the other by contrast The ability to move between the two over the course of a stay, or to choose one based on what the current day requires, gives a flexibility of Marrakech experience that no single property could provide: the Medina and the desert as complementary rather than competing propositions, each clarifying the character of the other by contrast.
