Overview
Palais Ronsard occupies an estate in the Palmeraie with twenty-seven rooms and six garden pavilions distributed across grounds planted with fragrant roses, bougainvillea, palms, and olive trees, the landscape possessing the cultivated richness of a private garden rather than the managed uniformity of a resort. Each pavilion occupies its own enclosed garden with a heated private pool, organizing the stay as a series of discrete outdoor rooms rather than a shared landscape. Interior design deploys crystal, velvet, and painted frescoes in compositions of deliberate opulence, the rooms individually furnished with marble bathrooms, deep soaking tubs, monsoon showers, and fireplaces facing gardens on every elevation. The spa covers two hundred square metres across two treatment rooms offering massages, traditional scrubs, and facials; a hammam and sauna occupy adjacent space. The restaurant has attracted international recognition for both the quality of its cooking and the architecture of the room in which it is served, a combination that draws a clientele extending well beyond the hotel's guest list. A bar, a pool house, and a library complete the circuit of interior spaces that make spending the full duration of a stay on the estate entirely rational. The six private-pool pavilions, the depth of the spa programme, and the culinary ambition of the restaurant together make Palais Ronsard one of the Palmeraie's most fully realized estate properties.
