Overview
Nobu Hotel Marrakech places Japanese minimalism in dialogue with Moroccan craftsmanship, a combination that produces interiors where the restraint of one tradition and the ornamental richness of the other arrive at an equilibrium: carved plasterwork and intricate lamps against muted tones, Zen spatial proportions within the geometries of a Moroccan building. Seventy-one guest rooms and suites each have a private balcony with views over the city or toward the Atlas Mountains, the rooms composed in the signature Nobu aesthetic with marble bathrooms and quality linens. The Nobu Restaurant delivers the brand's Japanese-Peruvian cuisine in its Marrakech iteration, the menu built around signature dishes alongside local influences; the Rooftop Garden extends the dining and bar offer to the top of the building, where a circular all-season pool, sushi bar, cabanas, and panoramic terrace compose a beach club setting with 360-degree views over the city and the Atlas range. Two further pools occupy different positions in the building: a lobby-level outdoor pool and a mosaic-tiled subterranean pool within the Pearl Spa. The Pearl Spa occupies more than two thousand square metres, its facilities including the subterranean heated pool, hammam, steam room, sauna, and private treatment suites with signature Nobu therapies alongside classical Moroccan treatments. A separate property, Nobu Riad, sits in the Medina a few steps from Jemaa el-Fna, offering six suites with handcrafted tadelakt walls, eucalyptus and walnut beam ceilings, and antique Berber furnishings as a self-contained alternative for those who want the Nobu brand within the fabric of the old city. Nobu Hotel Marrakech is one of the few luxury properties in the city that has arrived at a design identity strong enough to stand alongside the Moroccan architectural context without competing with it.
