Overview
La Ferme Medina occupies a riad in the old city of Marrakech, positioned within reach of the main square and the souks while operating at the scale and pace of a private house. Six rooms and suites are arranged in standard, junior, and superior configurations around a courtyard where exotic plants and fruit trees create a canopy dense enough to filter the Medina light into something green and diffuse, the birds that inhabit the planting audible before they are visible. The design register is boho-chic, the rooms composed in artisanal woodwork, quality linens, and decorative objects that draw from Moroccan craft traditions without settling into any predictable version of riad decoration. A restaurant with garden seating operates in the evenings, the menu calibrated to the intimacy of a house at this scale, the service oriented around the few tables rather than designed for volume. The spa provides the interior dimension for those who want to slow the pace further without leaving the building. E-bikes are available through a rental partnership, giving guests a way to navigate the medina's lanes and the outer city on their own terms. La Ferme Medina works because of what it is not: not a large property, not a hotel in any conventional sense, but a riad in one of the world's most compelling old cities that takes its guests seriously and keeps the number of them small enough to do so. The courtyard is the heart of the stay, and the garden that fills it is maintained with the attention that only a property of this scale can reliably offer.
